Education

  • All Dental Assistants in Saskatchewan have access to educational programs that foster personal and professional growth.
  • SDAA uphold national educational and regulatory standards including CDAC accreditation, NDAEB examinations and standardized curicullum.
  • Educate employers relative to the individual skill set, salary expectations and current licensure status of Saskatchewan dental assistants.
  • SDAA monitor labour market supply of dental assistants.

Ethical Practice

  • Foster positive attitudes, professionalism and mutual respect within the workplace.

Enhanced Health & Safety

  • All Dental Assistants are aware of disability and health insurance coverage throug public and private carriers.

Effective Administration

  • SDAA is financially viable.
  • SDAA continues to be fiscally accountable.
  • SDAA manages through policy governance development.
  • SDAA assess council for demographic balance and work towards appropriate succession planning.
