- All Dental Assistants in Saskatchewan have access to educational programs that foster personal and professional growth.
- SDAA uphold national educational and regulatory standards including CDAC accreditation, NDAEB examinations and standardized curicullum.
- Educate employers relative to the individual skill set, salary expectations and current licensure status of Saskatchewan dental assistants.
- SDAA monitor labour market supply of dental assistants.
Ethical Practice
- Foster positive attitudes, professionalism and mutual respect within the workplace.
Enhanced Health & Safety
- All Dental Assistants are aware of disability and health insurance coverage throug public and private carriers.
Effective Administration
- SDAA is financially viable.
- SDAA continues to be fiscally accountable.
- SDAA manages through policy governance development.
- SDAA assess council for demographic balance and work towards appropriate succession planning.
